Ceremonies
"When I started to think about surprising my girl with a wedding about as far
away from Germany as you can get, I did not think it was to be going
as smooth as it actually did. There where trillions
of things to think about. The dress, the suite, flowers, shoes, where to stay
(for we toured with a camper van), the location, and last but not least the paper works.
I was looking out for someone in New Zealand who could help me with all this and
make sure everything would be kept as secret as possible. With Julie I found just the right person. She took most of the works out of my hands and kept coming up with some
beautiful suggestions. She choose a wonderful location for the ceremony and
organized everything to the point. The only thing left for me to do was to make sure our vacation went on as planned and my girl would give the right answer to my proposal.
Well, she did. And our big day turned out the most romantic day in our
lives. After our vows had been exchanged, punting on the Avon, my girl (now my wife)
told me, that she could not have imagined this day more beautiful as it had turned out to be.

amazing photographs. We will surely never forget and always have a reason to return to Aotearoa."

"Als wir begannen einen Urlaub in Neuseeland zu planen, dachte ich, es wäre
etwas sehr schönes, diesen Urlaub mit unserer
Hochzeit zu verbinden. Mein Mädel sollte so lange wie möglich nichts davon
ahnen, also suchte ich jemanden in NZ, der mir mit
der Planung helfen würde. Julie, so stellte sich heraus, war genau die
Richtige. Sie half mit wirklich allem und nahm mir die
meiste Arbeit ab. Kleid, Anzug, Limousine, Hochzeitsstrauss, die Auswahl des
Ortes für die Zeremonie und natürlich die
Formalitäten. Ich brauchte wirklich nicht mehr zu tun, als sicherzustellen,
dass unsere Reise nach Plan verlief und mein
Mädel mir die richtige Antwort auf meinen Antrag gab (Gab sie.). Unser
großer Tag wurde zum romantischsten Erlebnis unseres
gemeinsamen Lebens. Später, nachdem die Ringe getauscht waren, gondelnd auf
dem Avon, sagte sie mir, dass sie sich diesen Tag
nicht schöner hätte vorstellen können, als er tatsächlich war. Vielen lieben
Dank an Julie und Lynda (für Ihre wunderschönen
Fotos). Wir werden diesen Tag sicher niemals vergessen und haben nun immer
einen Grund zurückzukehren."

I was always dismayed at the amount of brides who loved
their day except their overpowering or extremely religious
celebrant. Darrell and I wanted a relaxed wedding that
reflected our personalities. Although we had over
130 guests we based our wedding theme around an informal
cocktail party with a small ceremony to kick start the
preceedings. We rang Julie Lassen and made an appointent
to discuss our ideas. We couldn't believe how accommodating
Julie was. She gave us so many ideas and allowed
us to have a little fun with our vows incorporating our
own quirks. We settled on a balance of Julie's
helpful suggestions and our own personal touches.
Our guests loved our informal ceremony, many commenting how
well it suited our personalities. We can honestly
say Julie was exceptionally great, and would highly recommend
her to anyone."
